General
the dealership and Nayad, the operator of the catalog, regard users with disabilities as equal users, entitled to enjoy an equal and accessible service. We work to make the catalog accessible and to improve the experience of using it for the entire public, out of a belief that every person has the right to equality, dignity, comfort and independence.
The purpose of this page is to inform you of the accessibility adjustments that have been made, the tools available to you, and how to contact us if you run into any difficulty.
Web accessibility
The accessibility adjustments in the catalog were made in accordance with Part C (Internet services) of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, subject to the changes and adaptations set out in the Israeli Standard document.
Accessibility menu
Every page in the catalog displays an "Accessibility menu" button (a person-in-a-circle icon) in the bottom corner of the screen. It can also be reached with the keyboard using the Tab key and opened with Enter. Your choices are saved on your device and will apply the next time you browse, and the "Reset" button returns everything to the default. The menu includes:
- Larger text in three levels.
- Dark contrast (dark background and light text) and high contrast.
- Grayscale, for people with color blindness or color sensitivity.
- Highlight links and highlight headings.
- Readable font and increased letter spacing.
- Large mouse cursor, black or white.
- Stop animations and transitions.
- A link to this accessibility statement.
In addition, the site respects your operating system and browser settings — display zoom, reduced motion and contrast mode — and the display can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
Additional adjustments made
- Semantic structure: every page has a main heading, subheadings in a logical order, and defined page regions (header, main content, navigation and footer).
- Skip to content: a "Skip to main content" link is the first item on the page and appears when you press Tab.
- Keyboard navigation: all actions — search and filtering, sorting, the photo gallery, zooming, saving a car and sending an inquiry — can be operated with the keyboard, with no keyboard traps. Dialogs move focus to themselves when opened, close with Esc, and return focus to where they were opened from.
- Visible focus: every interactive element shows a clear focus outline.
- Screen readers: buttons and icons have accessible names, states (such as "saved" or a selected filter) are announced, and filter results are announced with every change. Car photos have alternative text that includes the car's name and the photo number.
- Alternatives to touch gestures: every action that can be performed by swiping, pinching or dragging (moving between photos, zooming) is also available through buttons.
- Forms: fields have labels, errors are shown as text and announced, and focus moves to the field that needs correction.
- Contrast and color: text contrast is at least 4.5:1, and states are not conveyed by color alone.
- Language and direction: the site is in Hebrew, right to left, and the language is defined in the page code.
- Motion: the site has no flashing or automatically moving content; anyone who has set reduced motion in their operating system will not see animations.
- Page titles: every page has a unique, descriptive title.
Assistive technologies and browsers
The catalog is built to work with common screen readers (NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, TalkBack on Android) and with the current browsers Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. Browsing on a mobile phone is fully supported.
External components and tools
Some actions take you to services that are not under our control — a WhatsApp chat with the dealership, navigation with Waze, and sharing a car. The accessibility of these services depends on their providers. The font is loaded from the Google Fonts service.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts may not yet be fully accessible:
- Car photos are uploaded by the dealership; their alternative text states the car and the photo number but does not describe the content of each image. The car's details are displayed as text next to them.
- The car description is free text entered by the dealership and may not be fully accessible.
- An external accessibility audit by a qualified professional has not yet been carried out; we are working to complete one.
If you came across a page or component that is not accessible, please contact us as detailed below and we will work to fix it. We continue to improve accessibility out of a commitment to making the catalog usable by the entire population.
Information in an accessible format
Anyone who needs information about a car or a service in another accessible format — for example read-aloud text, an adapted document or a phone call — is welcome to contact us, and we will assist as much as we can.
